Step 1. Hold a long rectangle scarf (like one of these!) horizontally
Step 2. Center the scarf on your forehead
Step 3. Bring the sides over your ears
Step 4. Collect the sides at the nape of your neck like a low ponytail
Step 5. Tie a knot at the nape of your neck
Step 6. Pull the ends to one side and begin twisting the sides together
Step 7. Twist the entire length of the scarf
Step 8. Bring the twisted sides over your head like a headband
Step 9. Tuck in the ends
