How to Tie a Scarf: Twist-Me-Knot
From halter tops to galaxy scarves, the SDN gals can’t get enough of crafty, creative, and innovative ways to use (and reuse) our favorite accessory. That’s why we’re beyond thrilled to bring you our latest series: The Scarves Dot Net DIY Challenge.
Brynn of chartreuse & a twist transformed not one, but two summer scarves into one head scarf knot that’ll surely shake (and stir) up your summer hair game. To recreate this carefree-chic style, we used the Eloise Polka Dot Skinny Scarf and the Krista Silk Anchor Scarf.
Instructions
Step 1: Twist two scarves together. We used a rectangle scarf and a square scarf to allow for length variation.
Step 2: Wrap the shorter end of the square scarf twice around the other scarf, and start to make a knot with the ends.
Step 3: Pull the tail end through, and pull tight to complete the knot. Repeat this step at the other end of the scarves.
Step 4: Wrap the scarf around your head twice, and tie the ends in back to secure.
Step 5: Tuck and pin the tail ends as needed.
Thanks again to Brynn for this boho take on the head scarf! You can check out all of our head scarf knots here.
